I had been thinking about getting SMP for a few years. In finally did some detailed research into clinics and practitioners and I choose Simon at Brandwood Clinic for my SMP treatment. I travelled from Ireland to Birmingham on 4 occasions so I had to be confident in the service. Simon's professionalism and approachability was great. He took the time to explain the entire process clearly, and his creativity really showed in designing a hairline that looked completely natural and suited my features perfectly. At each session, Simon talked through exactly what he was doing, which I really appreciated. His attention to detail in matching and blending the pigment colour with my existing hair was top notch — the result looks very natural. Simon provided great aftercare advice on maintaining the shaved look was practical and genuinely useful. He is a true perfectionist who is completely committed to delivering the best possible outcome for his clients. For me this was a confidence boost and I no longer feel self-conscious going out or in work. If you're considering SMP and want it done right, look no further. I came back (a few years after my first SMP) specifically to see Simon because his workmanship is top quality and natural looking. The results look great and as always Simon was brilliant. I had my SMP treatment with Simon Lane at the Brandwood Clinic six years ago and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. After my initial three treatments I was able to have two free touch ups within the first two years, which really helped keep everything looking fresh. My last touch up before now was three years ago, and just last week I went back in for another session. The results are fantastic – I feel completely restored and couldn’t be happier. The Brandwood Clinic is professional, welcoming and true experts at what they do. Simon Lane is outstanding – highly skilled, reassuring and always delivers brilliant results. If you’re considering SMP, I’d definitely recommend the Brandwood Clinic and Simon Lane. At the age of 14 I became a skinhead Rudeboy, heavily influenced by the 2 tone movement in 1979. I've always continued to follow that fashion and always had a crew cut .This year I turn 60. Still a skinhead Rudeboy at heart but unfortunately all the hair had gone! Then I looked at SMP, I didn't want hair, I'm not actually that vain, but I loved the way this procedure looked. So I did my homework, decided to go to Brandwood clinic . I was extra nervous but met Simon Lane, his back story and knowledge convinced me to go through with it. After the first session I was still apprehensive but I followed the healing process, filled with self doubt chatting to Simon gave me the confidence as he had faced all the doubts and more and knew exactly how I felt. After 4 sessions with Simon and now one week after my final session his work is simply amazing, when I look in the mirror I can see that 14 year old as I have hair again. I would recommend Simon to anyone now, I'm proof of this procedure does work, my kids love it and my family and friends think it looks just like a shaven head. I'll be having a 60th party in July, I have a live SKA band playing and I'll have my Rudeboy gear on and the finishing touch will be my freshly shaven hair. I fully recommend coming to Brandwood Clinic as I was having issues with my look before being put at ease by Simon, who is very knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I actually explained to him that I was going to Mecca and upon my return I met him and he fully explained what he will be doing. Simon makes you feel comfortable from the first second you have your consultation with him and upfront and honest with you. It becomes obvious as soon as you speak with simon that he is someone who knows his craft and his highly skilled, I can confirm after my 4th session with him that he is just that  !!!! I initially had SMP with a different company in 2016 and this had faded over the years so i had a top up and dropping of the hairline with Simon. The service that Simon provided was top notch and his eye to detail and professionalism is unmatched. True artist and the best at what he does. Like everyone else here, I was delighted when I first had SMP treatment by Simon Lane. I booked thinking these guys are the best and nothing can go wrong. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. After 6 months the treatment started fading and after 12 months my head looked like I’d been stabbed with a fork. Huge impressions, along with the pigment changing colour to a deep blue. There are also patches everywhere, especially the crown area. It’s now 18 months on and it looks worse by the day (see pictures) After contacting Brandwood, they agreed to “fix it” out of goodwill but won’t admit it was done incorrectly from the start. They even had the audacity to blame my skin and immune system. Excuse after excuse. To be clear, impressions this large cannot be repaired or hidden as they are too deep in the skin. I am now having to get laser treatment to completely remove it as nobody wants to touch it in it's current state. Do yourselves a favour and do your research, there are other practitioners in Birmingham who are far more talented and create natural hairlines which don’t fade.

After years of hiding under caps and hats due to balding in my 20s I saw an article about SMP and thought it could be the answer for me. I have just completed my micropigmentation treatment, carried out by Simon Lane at Brandwood Clinic and I am absolutely delighted with the results achieved! I presented with historical scarring from both 'plug' and 'strip' hair transplants and I was concerned that these scars might be difficult to disguise. However, Simon has completely succeeded in achieving the result I desired. Losing my hair over the years. I had a hair transplant which was partially successful.  I was still not happy with my appearance.  I looked into SMP and found myself being impressed by the reviews for Brandwood Clinic. I was apprehensive as it is a big decision but took the plunge and came for an appointment. I have just completed my SMP treatment and I am very happy with the results. I was apprehensive at the beginning about how the treatment might look but in hindsight there was no need for concern. Simon was very professional and slowly created the look I wanted over a few treatments, going at a pace I felt comfortable with. He took the time to listen and he is a very skilled artist. I would recommend Simon to anyone wanting to have SMP. My confidence began to improve immediately after the first treatment and continued growing from there. Not being confident in you own skin can take a huge toll on your everyday day life. Hair thinning can be quite a difficult thing to deal with for men, aswell as women. I decided to do something about it. I visit simon because i heard he's the best from the greatest practitioners around. After several years of disguising my thinning hair I finally shaved it off in January and my confidence was on the floor. Thankfully I discovered Brandwood Clinic and I can't reccomend them enough. From start to finish Simon was a true professional, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. After care advice was thorough and the premises were stylish and clean. Staff were also 10/10 with customer service. As for the SMP itself I couldn't be happier; I have just finished my 3rd treatment and Simon is a master at what he does and the results are totally natural. SMP is artistry on another level is all I can say. This time last year I new nothing about SMP. I am a middle aged guy started loosing his hair in his late 30's and tried all manor of products and strategic hair styles to try and hide it but in the end I embraced the clean shaven look. Noticing in pictures though I looked very pale, I thought to myself is this how I am to look from now onwards.  I juggled in my head about maybe a tattoo or something to break my monotone profile but sporting many tattoo's already I thought it to radical to have one visible on such a debatable place, specially as I work in the public sector. So the journey began with hair treatments and one particular one caught my eye namely SMP. It was ironically very close in principle to a tattoo but as my knowledge grew learning about the practice and such it's actually very different. I won't go into the science this can be found in abundance on YouTube but my search for practices led me to here where I made the step to speak with a great guy called Simon. The consultation was free, without pressure, informative and any queries quashed there and then. Naturally the rest is history and I booked in and three sessions later I am left so relieved I went for this. I am so happy with the results, from start to finish professionalism all the way. The procedure was easy compared to regular tattooing I have had in the past. Take heed of the after care four days after each session and it be plain sailing. The result was fine tuned to my expectations and I feel I literally have hair again. There is a two year guarantee and anything occurs or seems off you can get back in touch no issues, your covered. I can honestly say the service was first class from the initial consultation with Simon and his expert knowledge to my 3 sessions with the very talented Agata who delivered the result I was looking for, the clinic has a relaxed atmosphere that puts you at ease and every member of staff I came into contact with were polite and friendly.
